Client

Geoff Barlow is an NLP practitioner, sex coach, writer and public speaker who helps couples enhance their sex life. Geoff teaches the EROS technique, a structured methodology for lovemaking that gives women many orgasms and multiple orgasms. He also proposes a third form of lovemaking that sits between what is traditionally described as Foreplay and Sex: Penetrative Foreplay.
Geoff aims to raise the aspirations of couples so that sex becomes a more loving, giving, sensual, erotic experience for man and woman, and to help one million women experience the joy and bliss of multiple orgasms before the end of 2010.

Challenge

Geoff needed a website that would help him achieve his goal of a million women experiencing multiple orgasms. Geoff wanted to create a library of his articles and help sheets and deliver them in different parts of the website. To support his library Geoff wanted somewhere for up-to-the-minute news and comment.
The second part of the challenge was to build a facility where a community of people could interact both with the expert, Geoff, and with each other.
Lastly, Geoff wanted to be able to pick a selection of products that he felt he could recommend and sell the online.

Solution

The Logic House built a website that could host Geoff’s library of articles using a customised version of Joomla, an open source Content Management System (CMS). Geoff can now create as many articles as he wishes and format them to a professional standard. Geoff also has a blog for latest news and for highlighting information that he thinks is noteworthy.
A content-rich site needs a search function and a customised Google-powered search facility provides the most effective site search. In addition there is a dynamic “Most popular content” feature to encourage browsing.
The forum provides instant communication between users in a secure and private environment whilst allowing an administrator to manage content and visits for the comfort of all involved.
Social bookmarking support was added to help the promotion of the website amongst community members.
